With over 100 years of combined experience, the Frankie Lemmon School and Developmental Center teachers shine! All teachers carry certification in Birth-Kindergarten. Also, all teacher assistants are experienced in working with children with disabilities. All classroom staff use sign language and all are trained in utilizing other augmentative communication systems as needed.

In addition to a full-time Speech Therapist, the school has contract services with an Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, Vision Therapist, Music Therapist and a Hearing Therapist.

Janet Sellers, Executive Director
Over twenty-five years experience at Frankie Lemmon School, Master's degree in special education

Rebecca Smith, Associate Director
BA in Psychology & Teaching Certification from Meredith College, certified in B-K, over ten years experience with Frankie Lemmon School.

Debby Brooks, Office Administrator
Twenty-five years experience, mother of former Frankie Lemmon School student, three years as substitute teacher with Frankie Lemmon School.

Sharon Hanvey, Speech Therapist
Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology from University of Alabama, 18 years experience

Caroline Medlin, Teacher in three-year-old class
B-K Certified, two years experience at Frankie Lemmon School.

Gwen Hicks, Teacher Assistant in three-year-old class
Four year degree and eleven years experience at Frankie Lemmon School.

Toni Chan, Teacher Assistant in three-year-old class
Licensed Respiratory Therapist, Certificate in Early Childhood, 8 years experience in Early Childhood, five years experience at Frankie Lemmon School.

Kristie Alston, Teacher in four-year old-class
Three years experience at Frankie Lemmon School.

Carla Bass, Teacher Assistant in four-year-old class
Thirty years in educational/child care field , seven years experience at Frankie Lemmon School.

Lori Forbis, Teacher in five-year-old class
Three years experience at Frankie Lemmon School.

Jeanine White, Teacher Assistant in five-year-old class
Four year degree in education.
